We believe that the energy transition, next to smart hardware solutions, will be facilitated by data intelligence and value chain companies that have a key role in the energy landscape. Powerlive is such a company that provides the role of electricity Program Responsibility and gas shipper capabilities. With inhouse development of AI-intelligence modeling, Powerlive can predict gas and electricity load forecasts and assign these to the Tennet (the Dutch gatekeeper to the powergrid). These smart AI solutions and excess to essential value chain membership provides us with a strong position for further future energy transiation development.
VanHelder
With the participation in VanHelder, Transform Investments keeps another key position in the value chain of the energy transition. VanHelder is an ACM registered utility company with the main focus on B2B customers. Next to the delivery of gas and electricity, the ACM license provides a key role to future smart hardware solutions. In the end all smart solution for grid congestion, battery capacity, sun and wind curtailment will need to be invoiced. Invoicing to end-users in the Netherland can only be done by ACM licensed companies like VanHelder.
Smartguys
As our strong believe in data and data-driven solution, we took a majority stake in Smartguys. Smartguys is at the very hart of energy data and AI modeling. Smartguys has built multiple inhouse IT-solutions for energy companies and PV-parties. Next to the fascial presence in the energy value chain by our investment into Powerlive and Vanhelder, we believe that Samrtguys has a key role to energy knowledge and IT solutions.
